01Overview
Doran's Portal is a fan project, not a business built on your data. We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't sell personal information. This policy explains the limited data we do collect and why.
02What we collect
- Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand which pages and features get used, so we know what to improve. This includes things like pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP, browser type, and device.
- Preferences. Your theme choice and similar settings are stored locally in your browser so the site remembers them.
- Technical logs. Standard server logs may briefly record request metadata for security and reliability.
03How we use it
We use this information only to:
- Keep the site running, fast, and secure.
- Understand usage trends and prioritize what to build next.
- Remember your preferences between visits.
We don't use it for advertising and we don't build profiles to sell to anyone.
04Third-party services
Analytics are processed by PostHog on our behalf. Our hosting and content-delivery providers may also process technical data as part of serving the site. These providers handle data under their own privacy terms and only to deliver their service to us.
06Your choices
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings — the site will still work, though some preferences won't persist.
- Use your browser's “Do Not Track” or private-browsing mode to limit analytics.
- Request that we delete any data associated with you by contacting us.
